An introduction to
BUDDHISM
Before learning some concepts about Buddhism one must clearly understand the Buddha--the person who taught the core of Buddhism and it's main theory the Truth (Chathurarya Sathya).
The Buddha is the person who revealed The Truth (You can learn all about this so called truth later when you read more on this page). That may be fairly a good definition of the Buddha. Because of not knowing the truth one can suffer a lot because of Rebirth. There is no end to this. I mean that because of rebirth you die again..Then again you born and again you die. This is called the "Sansarica Chacraya" in Buddhism. For a long time in this "Sansarica Chacra" one must do a series of good deeds called the "Paramitha" s and by building up your wisdom with those deeds, you can attend to a special position called "Nibbana". We can say that this is the state that someone refrains from every bit of sin and your mind is filled with good deeds and very great wisdom. Nibbana is a very nice and wonderful position or a state. People who attended Nibbana is not going to born again, that his Sansarica Chacra is undoughtedly ends. It is because just think how you feel when you get rid of all the problems, fuss, all the bad times you have and all the irritating of your tour of life.
In the Early history so many Buddhas have been born from time to time. It is said that in the future also at least one Buddha will be born after a long period. But at present the Buddha that we are discussing now is the person born about 2500 years ago known to the world as the "Gouthama Buddha".
For a long time HE (the Gouthama Buddha) had to have a constant wish [Perum Pireema] in the mind trough out his Sansarica Gamana (the tour of constant death and rebirth--- Christians do not agree with rebirth]. The person who do it [Perum Pireema] must do it for a long time that is impossible to tell using todays Mathematics. HE had to do Alms Giving in a Vigorous way (Dana) and many other numerous kinds of Good Deeds (Kusal--- To be a Buddha you need to do good deeds even risk your life for some other's Life).
Now you got a brief understanding about the Buddha by reading the above Note. Please do not worry if you could not understand. I will find and let you know more learning resources in the future on this.
Now it is time to learn what really Buddhism is. To learn it, try to understand what the Buddha told about It. In the real Buddhism Language ( " Pali " -Buddhism is taught mainly using this language in the history in India) the Buddism is known as "Dhamma". The Monks who are learning it and using it to Attend Nibbana are called "The Sanga". So in Buddhism there are three main Parts to know. Number (1) is the Buddha. Number (2) is the Damma. Number (3) is the Sanga. These are called the Triple Jem (Thriwida Ratnaya). The Second one of the Triple Jem; the "Damma" is supposed to be the vision and the teachings of Buddha. But in Buddhism there are many many varieties of parts and sections to be learned. Even Buddhism itself has partings that are formed because of it's age. Though there are things that one should know always about Buddhism. One is a teaching of Buddha which says what all the Buddhas ( it is said that the Religion Buddhism had Buddhas enlightened and born to this universe time to time and the Buddha now we are talking had born in India about 2600 years ago to bring back the truth of Life and this world or the core of Buddhism) always say about Buddhism. It is a small poem that says three facts.
( 1 ) Avoid and Prevent from doing bad deeds and sins that lead to bad causes.
( 2 ) Produce and Do good things and good deeds.
( 3 ) Make your mind filled with good ideas, good deeds and correct, good understanding. That means to clean the bad thoughts, like thoughts to kill, thoughts to harm, thoughts to do havoc, idiotic decisions etc. The main idea here is to do Meditation and Consentration of good things.
So That's it. That will make you a good man - a real human being and will lead you to peace, in mind and the environment around you. It is also the main path to reach or the main starting point to Nibbhana.
To be born as a human you need to do a great deal of good things accordig to Buddhism. You should avoid your thinking of doing something bad to others and yourself. That's another way of being a real human being. If you think and do something it will be packed as "Karma" around yourself. So when you are born again these "Karma" will return on to you. It will make somethings happen. The result may be good only if you do good things and bad for the bad deeds. Though the "Karma" is an unexplainable subject, Buddhism always make them understand to you. In Buddhism the "Karma" is not an effect for only to rebirth. They can wake up in any moment in your present life. Here I used the words "Your Life". Actually there is no such person that goes around in "Sansaric" as a single thing that takes everything to the lives you are born to. Only "karma" is taken when you die. If you are self-conscious you can find answers to why it happened?, why did I do this?, ahy am I here?, at least. So as a result you will find that there's nobody in your life. It does not carry on. Reincarnation and Rebirth are not same in Buddhism. Well, that is the answer for why you are here born as a human. In Buddhism it is said that the life of a human is greater and more valuable than any other living thing. So we must be proud to be a human. Humans do have great deal of requirements to live. But the way you make full use of your life will create the human you always wanted to be. You wanted to be a happy person with all the good and pleasant things happening around. To be happy there must be relief, freedom and peace. If you think again and again you will find you are already thinking the facts of Buddhism. So don't give up. Think of your slf for a few minutes when you are working. That will make the consentration of work and the life.
This way of self-centric life will not harm in any means. It is said that this a type of meditation will let you give some peace in mind and pleasure when you find the truth of your life.
This Page will be updated frequently for introducing futuristic, scientific Buddhism according to my view. You can send email or contact me from the Contact Info page. Buddhism was introduced about 2600 years ago. So there are a lot of resources. Visit again and you will find some links to some of the major web sites of Buddhism on the Internet on this page. For your convenience. The Links will be displayed in the bottom of this page. I am waiting for your requests also.
